Hola! Welcome to my Corrido: Historia de Musica blog! in this project we had to pick out a corrido about a past issue and write a corrido about it. I picked a Corrido that was called " Corrido de Tiempos Amargos." this corrido is about a group of people called the Agrarians. These were the people that had become poor and lost their farms during the Mexican Revolution. These people had become slaves and had very bad lives under the rule of Porfirio Diaz. My song is in the perspective of one girl named Anastacia and it is about the sadness that Anastacia feels when her families farm is taken away. For this project i decided to do a dance that showcases my corrido in a different way.  In this blog you will be able to read a history of the Agrarians in the Mexican Revolution that i wrote, Watch the dance that i made, and be able to read my corrido both in Spanish and English.
